Hugo & Victor Paris

Going to patisseries in Paris sometimes feels like "an expedition into the unknown." This time I accidentally (luckily) walked by Hugo&Victor patisserie in the first arrondissement and couldn't ignore the coincidence.
Learned my lesson from the last time, I wasn’t sure what to expect from H&V and once inside I immediately felt like being in a jewelry store rather than a pastry shop.
Each of the pastry had its own name and was set behind a glass case like a piece of jewelry. Observing the pastries for a while, they all looked so delicious and it was very hard to decide which one to go for. At the end I bought the Chocolate Eclair with a dark chocolate plate on top, so yummy!
Even the packaging was incredible, and as the old saying goes: “We all eat with our eyes first” .... that applies to me 100%!
