Île d'Oléron

EN: When I recently saw how people play Pétanque in Jardin des Tuileries some memories from last year's summer came to my mind. I spent three weeks exploring a little part of southwest France on the Atlantic coastline, especially the city of Saintes, Royan and Île d'Oléron. During this time I tasted food I had never seen/heard/smelled before like Escargot, Coquille Saint Jacques, Oysters from the local markets, some fantastic cheeses (my favourite was Mezot which I unfortunately can't buy anywhere else but in this part of France) and mouth watering cakes. But what I remember most is the sunset on the island of Île d'Oléron....

SK: Ked som prednedavnom videla ako ludia hraju Pétanque v Jardin des Tuileries, spomenula som si na minle leto. Pocas troch tyzdnov som spoznavala malu cast v juhozapadnom Francuzsku na pobrezi Atlantickeho Oceanu, hlavne mesta Saintes, Royan a ostrov Île d'Oléron. Pocas tejto doby som okusila jedla ktore som nikdy predtym nevidela / nepocula / nevonala ako napriklad slimaky, musle Saint Jacques, ustrice z miestnych trhov, niekolko fantastickych syrov (moj najoblubenejsi je Mezot, ktory sa bohuzial neda kupit nikde inde nez v tejto casti Francuzska) a neodolatelne vyzerajuce kolace. Ale co si pamatam najviac, je zapad slnka na ostrove Île d'Oléron...
