Le Salon du Chocolat

EN: I heard about Le Salon du Chocolat a few months ago and in that moment I knew I will go. On saturday evening I booked the ticket and the next day I was heading towards Port de Versailles hoping the last day of the show will not be so crowded. HA! After all, it's all about chocolate and who doesn't like chocolate?! To make it short, there were MANY chocolate enthusiasts, A LOT of chocolates to taste, more than 550 participants from all over the world, chocolatiers, chefs and pastry chefs, cocoa experts and moreover a great atmosphere, live music and the smell of sweets everywhere. Few hours later I was so full, that I couldn't try even one more little piece of chocolate! I was SO lucky to meet (and shook hands) with the Japanese chef Sadaharu Aoki (you can read a bit more about his cakes here), who was very friendly and happy to pose for a few photos! My favourite stand was definitely the one from Ladurèe with their great white carrousel and live demonstrations of some of their well-known desserts on the spot. To see masters at work was simply fantastic! It's not possible to share with you all the pictures I took, but this selection will hopefully give you a little insight into the event. It was a very interesting experience and I will go next year again :)

SK: O Le Salon du Chocolat som pocula prvy krat pred niekolkymi mesiacmi, a v tom okamihu som vedela, ze pojdem . V sobotu vecer som si rezervovala listok a na druhy den som si to mierila na Port de Versailles dufajuc, ze v posledny den vystavy uz nebude tolko vela ludi. HA!
