Biarritz #2 La Ville

by - 09:00

Regardless of how many days holiday I have, it's never enough. One week in Biarritz wasn't enough, but we made most of every day. Whether just sunbathing on the La chambre d'Amour beach in Anglet or exploring the picturesque villages nearby (Saint-Jean-de-Luz is not to be missed). We didn't see everything and it wasn't our intention. We wanted to relax, enjoy the sun, swim in the sea and be simply happy. We rented an apartment only ten minutes walk from the beach, and the moment we walked inside I cried with happiness. Not because of the large terrace or bigger sitting room than our entire apartment in Paris. If you visited lived in Paris, I'm sure you'll understand my excitement about a fully equipped kitchen!! I woke up every morning eager to prepare pancakes or scrambled eggs with bacon and enjoyed buying fresh vegetables and fruit, so I can prepare dinner for the two of us. If you follow me on Instagram, you've already seen some of the beautiful places we visited or yummy treats we tried. Like the macarons or gateau Basque from Maison Adam, that you can buy only in pays Basque. Being so close to Spain was good enough reason to spent one day in San Sebastián, a beautiful city 20 km from the French border. Paella and tapas, lots of ice cream and Spanish atmosphere was well worth it. There is so much more to see and do in Biarritz and I hope we'll have the chance to visit this stunning part of France again in the future. xx
