La Provence photoshoot

by - 10:52

Don't worry, this is the last Provence post, I promise. This one is rather special for me. My friend Katie and her boyfriend planned their weekend in La Provence during the same time as we were there, and as soon as we realised this little coincidence, we knew exactly what was going to happen. Photoshoot! I will go straight to the point, we had a blast! We started with a small picnic on the terrace with excellent french cheese and wine and lots of laughter, patiently waiting for the sun to go down. That's when our adventure began. We hopped in the car and drove towards the town of Sault, chasing the last rays of sunshine, hoping to find the lavender fields without any tourists and to feel the spirit of Provence. I can't even describe how much fun we had, the boys went on really well and created a fantastic atmosphere. We took hundreds of pictures, but these ones are really special. I must give the credit to the boys as they were swapping the camera between them, depending on whether I was shooting Katie or she was taking pictures of us. We stayed long after the sun went down and finished the day with a delicious late dinner in Gordes (chez Mamma Gorda). I can't wait to show you the real deal pictures, but I must say that I love these ones as much. Thank you to Katie, Emanuele and Jeremie for being the best, funniest and simply amazing companions :)   xx
