Backstage at ELLERY

For the second time in my career, I was over the moon happy to be given the chance to photograph backstage at paris fashion week. This time around it was for an australian brand ELLERY and if you'd like to know what it looks like before a show, here are my few observations. Backstage is always buzzing with people running around and it seem like there's never enough time for ... anything really... but at the end, everything works out perfectly! What many people don't know is that backstage starts hours before the show. I arrived an hour and a half before and all the models, make up artists and hair stylists were already there (I don't even want to know how long), and so was a little buffet with coffee and pastries.. pheewww! I loved photographing backstage and what I enjoyed the most was that I was left alone and had the chance to move around freely from the make up section to photograph the models having their hair done. No stress or pressure from anyone! Once we were allowed to enter the room where all the models were dressed and ready to hit the runaway, I took a few quick photos and rushed towards my seat to finally watch the catwalk and admire ELLERY's spring/summer 2016 collection. It was an unforgettable experience and I'm happy to share it with you right now, I hope you'll like the photos. xx
