Le Meurice

French pastries are famous all over the world and you haven't properly explored Paris if you haven't tried an eclair au chocolat, paris-brest or saint-honoré. I live here so naturally I tried many, from different chefs and pâtisseries, and so should you. To have your own opinion, your own favourite. But if you ask me, the answer is simple. The only chef who made me travel to the land of spices and flavours was Cédric Grolet. A head pâtissier at the hotel Le Meurice, Cédric's creations are too pretty to eat, but trust me, you want to taste that cake! If you only had one place to visit, I'd definitely advise you Le Meurice! The hotel itself is a must see and a cosy tea time while enjoying pastries from the best Pastry Chef of 2015! will make your Paris stay unforgettable ...  and wait until they bring the freshly out-of-the-oven madelines! xx

  1. The pastries look incredible! One of my favourite things about Paris is that you can always find a delicious and luxurious pastry without looking to hard, and your post really shows it! Which one was your favourite?

    1. Thank you Theresa! My favourite is Saint-Honoré but this year's Christmas Yule Log (the first photo) was also fantastic! xx
