So I turned 33.. well, that was one month ago but life has been so crazy busy that I only now get the chance to write a few words about it. All I wanted for my b'day was to be surrounded by friends and loved ones, to have a glass of champagne and slice of a chocolate cake, talk and laugh and be happy. Simple as that, I was the happiest woman when around twenty of my friends came to wish me happy birthday in the coziest bar inside the Grand hotel du Palais Royal. My husband and bestie Carin were on my side to help with all the little details around (can you believe this was the first time ever I had balloons for my b'day??!!! poke Carin) and later in the evening a smaller group of my closest friends popped a few more bottles of champagne in the hotel suite where I was spending my b'day night.
Lately I've been thinking a lot about life. I know how blessed I am to have a loving family, a husband who supports me, whatever choice I make, to have those few friends who are there for me whenever I need to talk and be heard, to have a job I love and feel happy to do every single day, to live in Paris, to be healthy and to have you, my readers. I ask myself how did I deserve all this and really don't know the answer, but what I do know is that I'm grateful for everything and don't take it for granted. I'd love to thank you for your constant support, it means the world to me! xx
