Greece at last!

You know how much I love traveling and thanks to my work I get to see places I've always dreamt of visiting. I've never been to Greece and have been meaning to visit this blue&white country for as long as I can remember, so when the opportunity to discover Thessaloniki arose, I packed my bags in seconds and was ready to explore! Four days of sunshine (while it was pouring down in Paris) was a pure bliss!

We checked into the Sani Resort which, we later discovered, is a reserve with a yacht marina, four hotels (each completely different from the other) many restaurants, golden beaches and clear waters. The sun was shining bright and I couldn't wait to put the jeans and warm jumper on the bottom of my luggage in exchange for a short dress, flip-flops and sunnies! First stop, cocktail at the Sea Breeze Bar and we immediately forgot about the bad weather in France. During the first day we visited Thessaloniki, the second largest city in Greece and the capital of Greek Macedonia (I loved the area around the White Tower). But the cherry on top was definitely lunch surprise-surprise in an authentic Greek restaurant where we finally got to try some Gyros, greek meatballs and tzatziky, it was a food heaven if you ask me!!!  (I would never be able to pronounce the name of the restaurant but here is a link if you'll ever have the chance to visit).

After two days in Sani Resort, we got to experience another beautiful place called, Ikos Olivia. The service at the hotel was wonderful, olive trees were framing the whole resort, excellent restaurants and bars to choose from and large beach was all you can wish for on a holiday.

I can safely say that my first time in Greece was magical also thanks to the fabulous girls I had the pleasure of sharing these moments with. I hope this was only the beginning of getting to know this part of the world better as I'm sure there is so much more to see! Hopefully very soon! I'll let the photos speak and I hope you'll Discover Greece through them. Have a wonderful week everyone! xx
