Back in London

This is the only city in the world where I don't mind the rain that much (yes, I really mean it). Greeted by grey sky while raining "cats and dogs", Gosh it felt so good to be back in my dear old London!

Places to eat worth mentioning:

 - If you are staying at the Hotel Le Meridien Piccadilly you must have dinner at the Terrace Grill & Bar, we loved the food and the wine selection!

 - Right across the Hotel, you'll find one of my favourite department stores in London, Fortnum & Mason. I talked about this place in my last blog post from London here. This time, we tried the 45 Jermyn Street restaurant, which is a part of FM. They offer excellent food, attentive service and great atmosphere, try their breakfast. Yum!

 - For steak lovers, Hawksmoor should be also on your list. Right next to the Hotel, (I wasn't joking when I said that the location was a dream!), the choice of meat is huge and so are the portions! The Art Deco adds up to the whole experience, definitely worth trying.

 - Another fabulous breakfast/brunch place is the Turks Head in Wapping where I stayed for a few days at my friend's place. Love this part of  East London. If you are in the area try also Il Bordello for dinner, fabulous Italian place!

Honestly, I wish I could come to London more often. When you think about how easy it is to get on the Eurostar from the heart of Paris, to find yourself just two hours later, right in the heart of London! Note to self, "Plan your next trip asap!' xx
