Paris Food Guide 2020
I'm so happy to share with you my little Paris Food Guide. These are some of my favourite restaurants I've been to multiple times (I love going back to the same places with friends visiting us in Paris or simply with hubby or girlfriends). As you will notice, most of my recommendations are in the same arrondissements simply because that's where I have all my meetings or hang out with friends. New restaurants in Paris are growing like mushrooms so I'll be updating this list throughout the year, make sure to come back from time to time to see what's new in the city of lights.

Balagan - 9 rue D'alger
Israeli food - Love to come here for lunch meetings, but the evening atmosphere is also worth experiencing! It's a loud place, great food and music.
Le Nemours cafe - 2 Place Colette
A parisian cafe with great service (despite being so busy), perfect for people watching, situated right next to my favourite garden Jardin du Palais Royal and Louvre.
Cedric Grolet pastry shop - 6 rue Castiglione
Be prepared for a long line and limited number of pastries. The shop opens at 12 and closes as soon as all the pastries are sold out, which is pretty fast! It's a takeaway only and you can enjoy the lightest and most beautiful looking pastries in the nearby Jardin des Tuileries.
Clover grill - 6 rue Bailleul
Chef Jean-Francoise Piege has already five restaurants in Paris and this one is definitely the one I'd recommend for meat lovers! Delicious flavours, make sure to reserve beforehand !
Kunitoraya - 1 or 5 rue Villédo
You have the choice between the Udon bistro or the restaurant just a few doors away, there's always a queue for lunch so I like to arrive a bit earlier to get a table. You can make a reservation for the restaurant but not for the Udon bar.
Sanjo - 29 rue d'Argenteuil
Japanese restaurant that makes their own noodles. I always take the menu with ravioli, they're the best I've tried!
Champeaux - 12 Passage de la Canopée
French bistro, great drinks and deco! It's located in the Forum les Halles shopping centre on the outside part.
A great cup of flat white or matcha latte plus the location, Jardin du Palais Royal. There are now two new cafés open, one on 52 rue de Richelieu which is also a restaurant and a bar & 2 rue du 29 Juillet which is the Maison Kitsuné store where you can also shop the collection.
Ellsworth - 34 rue de Richelieu
Delicious dishes you're best to share (or not), must book beforehand!

La Poule au Pot - 9 rue Vauvilliers
Another restaurant from the Jean-Francois Piège family, a french brasserie with some of the most typical french dishes revisited. I also love the great interior.

Fragments - 76 rue des Tournelles
Avocado toast and delicious flat white are my favourites!

Situated inside the Hotel Royal Monceau, this is japanese Chef Nobu's first restaurant in France. An absolute delight with fabulous atmosphere, make sure to reserve a table beforehand.
86 Champs - 86 avenue des Champs-Elyseés
Pierre Herme's restaurant is the perfect excuse for a sweet treat and maybe even a bite if you have the time. Love the deco!
Oursin - 60 avenue des Champs-Elyseés
Love the Mediterranean atmosphere, on a sunny day this place has a special feeling but can also get a bit too hot as there's no protection on the windows. The food was delicious, it's a perfect place for business lunch but not only.
Hotel Four Seasons, George V - 31 avenue George V
Three of my favourite restaurants in Paris under one rooftop!
The three Michelin star restaurant Le Cinq (the wine selection is absolutely breathtaking!), the L'Orangerie (my favourite from the three with one Michelin star) and the mediterranean restaurant George V also one Michelin star.

Sort of a hidden gem with incredible Parisian home feel and french revisited classic cuisine by Christophe Pelé.

Ober Mamma - 107 boulevard Richard Lenoir
Excellent Italian restaurant with great vibe and cocktails. The queue is long so be prepared to wait to get a table.
16 arrondissement
The Peninsula Paris - 19 avenue Kléber
A great place for special occasions, I love their brunch (life band is always present) but also dinner at the Lobby restaurant. The L'Oiseau Blanc is a One Michelin star, French gastronomic restaurant with the most spectacular panoramic view of the Eiffel Tower.
Girafe - 1 Place du Trocadéro
The view of the Eiffel Tower is unbeatable plus I enjoy the food a lot. Mostly seafood but also varieties of fish, steak and the vegetarian sides.
