La Provence part 1
Have you visited La Provence yet? It's my favourite part of France by far and if you haven't had the chance to see this stunning beauty, I think you should make some changes in your summer holiday plans :) Only three hours by train from Paris, Les Baux-de-Provence welcomes you with blue sky and sunshine.... you immediately feel the holiday spirit!
My third visit to Provence was as magical as the first two (here & here), this time I had the chance to discover Domaine de Manville, a former farming estate transformed into a luxury country palace. With a group of friends Olivia, Thibault and Pierre, we spent four sunny days at a 5* dreamy villa .... and the return to gloomy Paris was as hard as ever. But I can assure you we made most of our stay without trying too hard, when you have such a beautiful piece of land in front of you the simplest things make you incredibly happy. Like a morning hike after breakfast for the best view of the Provencal villages or observing beehives in the fields with busy bees doing their magic; ride bikes for hours with the sun shining bright and smell the scent of olives everywhere, fooling around in the swimming pool and having a barbecue on the terrace of the villa.... you can easily forget about the busy life in Paris. I love these kind of escapes, when I can recharge and appreciate the simplest things. I'm so happy to be able to share with you some of my photos and I hope they'll make you want to travel, because that's exactly what I want to capture every time I take the camera in my hand. xx
